Carmela Lieras, B.A, CPT-NASM
  Carmela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science from Willamette University in 2002 and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). During her collegiate education, she also served as a student athletic trainer for 3 years when she was not competing in cross-country and track and field. She is a Z Health Level 1 R-Phase Certified Trainer, and is also certified in TRX Suspension Training.
  Being physically active and participating in sports at a young age inspired Carmela to always maintain a healthy lifestyle and to embrace her strength, rather than hide behind it. She came to the conclusion that fitness and athletics always had to be a part of her life, whether she was training or competing or coaching someone else. It wasn’t until she met and began working with the co-owner of Fitness Evolved, Andy Clower, and began attending a variety of informative seminars and mentorships, that she found her true passion for fitness and changing the standard of the fitness industry.
  Carmela strongly believes that our bodies function properly only when they are free from restrictions, imbalances, and excessive loads that the joints and muscles are not prepared to handle. During the past year, she and Andy have restructured their training philosophy and have a firm grasp on the most effective and life-changing program design methods and are thrilled to be able to put them into action at Fitness Evolved.
  As co-owner of Fitness Evolved, Carmela hopes to instill the same inspiration and motivation into her members as was instilled into her at a young age, but most importantly, seeing her members reach their goals and accomplish what may seem impossible or even unthinkable is the best part of her job!

Andy Clower, ATC
 
  Andy Clower, ATC received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Athletic Training from Anderson University.  He has been a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) since 2001.  During his time at Anderson, he worked with collegiate and high school athletes of all sports.  On graduation, he took a job as a main clinical assistant for Anderson's team Orthopedic surgeon, and was also Head Athletic Trainer at a local high school. 
 
  Upon moving to the Bay Area, he switched his focus to rehab and functional training.  He spent five years working at one of the Bay Area's top Physical Therapy clinics as Head Athletic Trainer.
 
  He has an extensive knowledge of how the body functions and moves, and has worked with many patients and athletes of all levels to not only restore function, but to reach levels beyond their previous abilities.  He is an expert in movement assessment and firmly believes that our bodies are amazing machines, well-designed, and capable of doing tremendous things.  His approach is detailed, and he works closely with each client, teaching them safe and efficient ways to use their bodies and ensuring carryover to daily life or athletics.
 
  Through his experiences in training and rehab he developed a passion for taking his clients to new levels.  Through research, attending seminars, and working directly with some of the best trainers, coaches, and therapists in the world, Andy has developed his Fitness Training system.  He is currently a Z Health Level Four R, I, S, and T Phase Certified Exercise Therapy Specialist, as well as a Results Fitness Program Design Expert. 
 
  He has become determined to change the standards of the fitness industry and to "bridge the gap" between the low-cost/low-quality high-volume commercial gyms and the high-priced, boutique one-on-one personal training studios that only few can afford.  He and his Co-Owner, Carmela Lieras, believe that high quality fitness training should be available to everyone and subsequently founded Fitness Evolved.
